Terms of service

TickerFetch is operated by an individual developer based in Lithuania (EU). Using the add-on or requesting a licence key means accepting these terms. Contact: support@tickerfetch.com.

The service

TickerFetch provides a Google Sheets custom function that returns market prices sourced from Yahoo Finance. Prices are cached for roughly five minutes and are not real-time. They are provided for information only — this is not financial advice, and you should not rely on it for trading decisions.

Licence keys

One key is issued per email address. New keys include a 7-day free trial with no card required and no automatic charge. Requesting a key for an address that already has one re-sends the existing key; it does not start a second trial. Keys are personal — please don’t share or resell them.

Fair use

Each key is limited to 600 requests per hour. Normal spreadsheet use stays well inside this. Keys used to circumvent the limit, or to resell the data, may be revoked.

Subscriptions and payment

After the trial, access costs $2.99 per month or $24 per year in US dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time, and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. If TickerFetch didn’t work for you, email within 14 days of a payment and it will be refunded — no argument. EU consumers keep their statutory withdrawal rights in addition to this.

Availability

TickerFetch depends on an upstream data source and on Google’s platform, so it is provided as-is without a guarantee of uptime or of coverage for any particular symbol. If a prolonged outage makes the service unusable, email support and the unused part of your subscription will be refunded.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the add-on at any time and ask for your data to be deleted (see the privacy policy). Keys may be revoked for breach of these terms, with any unused paid period refunded.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top of the page changes with them. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
